These handbags and accessories are made from 35mm polyester movies that are no longer running in theaters. Polyester film is more durable than the older acetate or celluloid film that was prevalent before the 1980’s that cracked and was flammable. The strips are also backed with a clear film leader for extra durability. All are handmade by the beautiful hand-crochet work of a women’s cooperative in the Philippines using extra durable mercerized yarns.
